Penerapan Paradigma Wahdatul Ulum dalam Pembelajaran di Program Magister Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Sumatera Utara Medan

Abstract

: Wahdatul Ulum is a vision, idea, and scientific paradigm that represents the oneness or existence of all branches of the scientific community of knowledge that emanate from Allah SWT. In contrast to the philosophy of science, which promotes reductionism, Wahdatul Ulum advocates unification. This study aims to examine the implementation of Wahdatul Ulum in learning at the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Masters Program at UIN North Sumatra, as well as the barriers lecturers face when attempting to implement Wahdatul Ulum in learning at the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Masters Program at UIN North Sumatra. The technique used is qualitative and employs a case study methodology. Interviews, observations, and documentation were used to gather data, which was then evaluated by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. 1) Students apply Wahdatul Ulum in learning in the form of vertical integration, horizontal integration, reality integration, ethical integration, and intrapersonal integration, according to the findings of the research. The majority of teaching staff with general scientific education degrees are judged to have failed to accomplish the aims of UIN Sumatra Utara, and it is difficult to persuade students to make use of the hard skill and soft skill skills they acquire throughout the learning process
