Abstract

The complex formation of copper (II) with bis [3- (chlorophenylazo-pentadiene-2,4) ethylenediimine] in the presence of antipyrine and 4-aminoantipyrine was studied by spectrophotometric method. It was found that in binary compounds (Cu (II) -R) the yield of the complex is maximum at pH = 4, the optimal wavelength is 437 nm.
