Abstract

The genetic algorithm is employed to optimize the dual frequency matching network for a small size loop antenna. The antenna is optimized to work at 4~5MHz with VSWR less than 2.5 and 30 MHz VSWR less than 1.5, respectively. A real antenna is built and its test results are in good accordance with the calculated ones.
