The modeling of the experimental transmission and reflection spectra shows the possibility of identifying the interfacial interaction at the boundaries of thin-film layers of cadmium sulfide and cadmium telluride leading to the formation of varison layers of solid solutions. In addition, modeling has shown that the coordinate-dependent permittivity of solid solutions leads to a significant increase in the reflection coefficient from the structure. Abstract

By numerical modeling of transmission spectra, a theoretical analysis of the optical properties of the CdS/CdTe film heterosystems has been carried out. The analysis takes into account the possible variation of the film thickness and the divergence of the incident beam.
