As a alternative to curbing the usage of diesel – powered generators, HRES was proposed in Kampung Selarong. This project aims to collect load power data around Kampung Selarong and feed those data into the Hybrid Optimization of Multiple Energy Resources software (HOMER) to get an in-depth analysis of the load power consumption in the village. Abstract

This paper discusses on the Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES) to supply electricity to Kampung Selarong, Pengkalan Hulu, Perak. The location of the project was chosen by considering the type of area the village was situated in, which was a rural area.
