Abstract

In abnormality detection based on pattern-matching scheme, it is desirable a specific signal pattern itself is used as a probing pattern, as seen in the case of CWT (continuous wavelet transform), but its use is limited because of heavy computing load. In this paper, we study the feasibility of wavelet decomposition algorithm based abnormality detection to hedge this problem.
