Abstract
This paper will discuss the generation and waveguiding of the second harmonic generation (SHG) signal in the LiNbO3 nanowaveguides. SHG enhancement by modal phase-matching is demonstrated and the applicability of the LiNbO3 nanowaveguides for localized dye excitation is shown.
