Abstract
In order to overcome the problem that it is difficult to monitor the health of abalone due to the turbidity of water in aquaculture, a detection method based on passive acoustic technology is proposed in this paper. We found that abalone makes regular sound when eating. Therefore, their health condition can be observed by monitoring their feeding sound. Simultaneously, we also solved the problem of extracting the feeding sound affected by the noise of the aerator. This research provides theoretical support for the feasibility of health monitoring of abalone through underwater passive acoustic detection.
