Abstract

The article focuses on the issues of metrological support of large stationary antennas and, in particular, algorithms and methodologies for measuring the directional characteristics by using unmanned aircraft's self-consistent flight (flyby method) and GLONASS technologies. The article describes the experimental flyby measurements of the antenna under test (AUT) directional pattern at UHF range in automatic mode by means of an experimental sample measuring complex on the basis of the octocopter type UAV.
