Abstract

This paper presents a printed a modified bow-tie high gain microstrip antenna. The proposed work is constructed from a double-sided bowtie with a serrated edge, two circular slots and U-shaped slot. The proposed antenna is utilized to operates at the ISM-band ranging between 2.05 up to 2.6 GHz with maximum gain of 8.95 dBi and achieves high stable gain over the entire operating frequency range. The measurements of the return loss, gain, electric, and magnetic fields on the manufactured antenna matched well with the simulation results.
