Abstract

A 1:4 power divider (PD) fed by vertical probes is designed and numerically demonstrated, covering the full N77 band for the 5G communications. The vertical feedings make low profile “tiled” microwave architecture potential, which however do not affect the electrical performances of the PD. A full wave simulation shows that the transmission from the vertical input to output is about 6.2dB. In addition, the PD is shown with well-matched impedance for all input and output ports and good isolations between the outputs.
