Abstract

The advanced knowledge of impending events, the firms are able to predict the arrival times of their supply chains. This provides them time to organize a place to store the stock they buy and enables them to schedule manufacturing to meet their demands. For this purpose organizations employ supply chain strategies to eliminate the waste, losses, and uncertain environmental conditions.
