Abstract

The object of this paper is the analysis of the expressions i drugi / i ostali in the Serbian language, as well as the contextual possibilities of their interchangeability, i. e. the similarities and differences of their usage. The goal of the paper is to point out the differences in the nuances of meaning, in the method of interpretation, and in the implications between these two expressions, considering that they are mostly viewed as synonyms in dictionaries and existing literature (Стевановић и др. 1990а, б; Вујанић и др. 2011).
