Shared Resources For Biomedical Education And Research

Abstract

This paper describes the collective, cooperative efforts of the Newark Remote Access Center (NRAC) to promote Biomedical Supercomputing activities at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Stevens Institute of Technology (SIT) and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey KJMDNJ). Supercomputers are being used more frequently by the research community at the NRAC institutions. The major goal of NRAC has been to provide high-quality service to the supercomputing community by offering frequent training and assistance and sharing the computing resources available at the NRAC institutions. This paper provides an overview of the Shared Resources Program offered by the NRAC consortium to help the biomedical community at NJIT, SIT and UMDNJ.
