Both theoretical and computer simulation methods are employed to explore the variation of the average particle density with finite number of available particles. The result obtained in this work shows that the average particle density is highly depends on the entering probability and the total number of particles. Abstract
In this paper, the effect of constrained resources on synchronous totally asymmetric simple exclusion process (TASEP) was studied. Both theoretical and computer simulation methods are employed to explore the variation of the average particle density with finite number of available particles. The result obtained in this work shows that the average particle density is highly depends on the entering probability and the total number of particles. It indicates that the availability of the particle number may become an important factor about rate-limiting in the transport problems.
