COMMUNITY-BASED MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH EDUCATION ONLINE PROGRAM FOR IMPROVING MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH IN PANDEMIC COVID 19

Abstract

Kasus Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) merupakan penyakit yang saat ini masih menjadi wabah yang tersebar di seluruh dunia, termasuk juga di Indonesia. Di Indonesia, kasus positif Covid-19 setiap hari makin meningkat, sampai dengan tanggal 30 Mei 2020 ini, di Indonesia tercatat ada 25.773 kasus positif Covid-19 dan 1.573 jiwa yang meninggal akibat Covid-19. Pandemi Global Covid 19 telah mempengaruhi berbagai sector, khususnya Kesehatan pada ibu dan anak. Masa pandemi memberikan kecemasan pada ibu hamil, menyusui ataupun pasangan usia subur untuk memeriksakan kondisi kesehatannya ke rumah sakit. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi pelayanan Kesehatan ibu dan anak selama Pandemi Covid 19. Metode yang dilakukan melalui kosultasi online berbasis melalui Whatapps secara terstruktur yang telah ditentukan waktu dan jenis konsultasi seperti pelayanan KB, laktasi, kehamilan, masalah reproduksi, imunisasi dan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Hasil pengabdian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa 80,45% masyarakat antusias dengan program tersebut, 60% konsultasi tentang imunisasi dan pertumbuhan anak, 56,36% konsultasi tentang kehamilan dan laktasi serta 40% tentang KB..Kata Kunci: community-based maternal and child education program; Pandemic Covid 19Abstract  Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a disease that is currently still an outbreak spread throughout the world, including in Indonesia.  In Indonesia, positive cases of Covid-19 are increasing every day, as of May 30, 2020, Indonesia there are 25,773 positive cases of Covid-19 and 1,573 people who have died due to Covid-19. The Global Covid-19 pandemic has affected various sectors, especially maternal and child health. The pandemic period gives anxiety to pregnant women, breastfeeding women, or couples of childbearing age to check their health conditions in the hospital. This community service aims to facilitate maternal and child health services during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method is carried out through online consultation based on Whatapps in a structured manner that has determined the timing and type of consultation such as birth control services, lactation, pregnancy, reproductive problems, immunization, child growth, and development. The results of this service were obtained from the results that 80% of the community was enthusiastic about the program, 60% consultations on immunization and child growth, 56% on pregnancy and lactation, and 40% about birth control..Keywords: community-based maternal and child education program; Pandemic Covid 19
