Abstract
In this paper switches are considered as fixed branches and therefore the topologies of equivalent circuits are the same as those of principal circuits. They may be referred to as total-phase topologies. Circuit variables are expressed as sequences, which should be algebraically manipulated by several rules proposed by the author. Both the set of circuit equations and its solutions are of total-phase type. The solution to each phase may be derived from the total-phase solutions. The methods, using a total-phase topology proposed in this paper are especially suitable for analysis of multi-phase switched capacitor networks (SCN's) in the z-domain and in the time-domain respectively.<>
