In this paper this novel control strategy is shown in which the renewable energy source is interfaced with TPSS. The Wind Energy system is synchronized with the grid and this grid network supplies power to the locomotive loads connected to the traction line fed by their substation. The behavior of Traction power supply system has been analyzed using simulation and experimental test carried out on a developed hybrid system of Renewable energy source and traction to check the performance parameter of both systems.
