Abstract
The calibration procedure of a pressure transducer changed over time along with the development of transducers from analog to smart. The paper presents the linear regression as a method for verification and software adjustment of the digital output of hybrid and smart pressure transducers. The method consists in using the comparison regression line for determining the adjusting regression line and the adjustment factors of the digital output signal. The method is simple, efficient, considering all together the known and unknown influences which alter the measurements. A practical example for the verification and adjustment of a pressure transducer is presented in the paper.
