Development of Transport Infrastructure in the North-West of Russia

Abstract

The article analyses the existing state of the logistics system of the North-Western region of Russia, which provides transportation of such strategic cargoes as coal, ore and steel in the framework of international trade with the European countries. Russia's policy in ensuring military security of the infrastructure created in the region is substantiated and disclosed.
