Using Pearson correlation and independent-samples t-tests on data collected from 66 Guangdong province technology-based firms during the second half of 2010, the relationship between knowledge management, business model innovation, organizational culture, strong ties, personal relationship and IPR enforcement were investigated. The discussion of the results obtained highlights several possible explications as related to the relevance (or the lack of it) of such factors and identify avenues for further research. Abstract
