Abstract

The results of theoretical investigation of the diffraction radiation oscillator (DRO) with two and three-stage interaction space in open resonant system (ORS) are presented. For this purpose the higher TEM0nq-mode are excited in the ORS with n ldquospotrdquo along the interaction space. It is shown that the choice of a two-stage interaction space already allows lowering a starting current 1.91 times and improving selection of excited modes in DRO.
