Abstract
This paper is a survey of new and improved recent position based routing methods in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks. The referenced materials agree on the main challenge in creating energy efficient mobile ad-hoc networks. The quest is to realize a simple, yet efficient means of routing and managing the Mobile Ad-hoc Network communications with existing technology. Although many protocols have been proposed, a need still exists to address increased efficiency. In this paper, we will propose a simple and efficient way to utilize existing technology in a simple need based approach to broadcast and receive of messages in a MANET.
