Abstract

This paper introduces some of the latest advancements of research and development on non-traditional ma chining methods in China. The achievements include some new technologies that attract many research efforts in China, those are laminated ED-Milling, mini EDM device with new driving mechanism and new driving tech nique, open system EDM-CNC, EDM of integral turbine disk, numerical simulation of flow field in EDM gap, SLS technology, NC-ECM, electroforming and magnetic abrasive machining.
