Abstract

The crocodile stone site in Santubong, Sarawak is the main subject in this study. The preliminary findings show that this site has a significant historical value to the community in Santubong. However, there is no in-depth report on the physical aspects of the site, especially the impact of geographical factors on the site, which is located at the mouth of the river and is often flooded. The purpose of this study was to look at the physical condition of the site and to make physical comparison of this site in 1969 compared to today. The study found that there were significant differences and changes with the sedimentation and erosion of this site which caused half of the physical site to be sandwiched by river sand.
