Abstract
Programmable photonic integrated circuits (PICs) offer practical solutions to the scaling requirements of quantum technologies for quantum communications and distributed quantum computing. Here we present recent advances in piezoelectrically-actuated PICs demonstrating large-scale optical switching and linear-optic operations for the realization of quantum network systems.
