Abstract

Predictive maintenance performs an important role to ensure a continuous working industrial environment. The periodic monitoring of equipment may be done trough a thermographic analysis, who has the features of a non-invasive execution and can be applied over functioning machinery. In this article, the temperature sensor MLX90621 is used along with the microcontroller STM32F401RE and a Bluetooth module HC-06, to assemble the TemperoT platform for thermographic inspection, which also has a cross-platform app developed with the Xamarin.Forms API (Application Programming Interface), integrating the legacy protocol Modbus with the most recent one, MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport).
