Abstract

Optical constants such as refractive index, absorption coefficient, extinction coefficient and the real (εr) and imaginary (εi) components of the dielectric constant for NaCl salt water (10-50%) were determined from the UV Optical transmission data. Results of UV transmission analysis in salt water have shown that in dilute solutions the dielectric constant (real & img) is linear. The addition of dissolved Na and Cl ions above (50%) to water results in a drop in dielectric constant.
用紫外光测定盐(%)水介电常数的简单光学方法
