Abstract

Broad introduction to the various aspects of management including analytics, accounting and nance, operations, marketing, entrepreneurship and leadership, organizations, economics, systems dynamics, and negotiation and communication. Introduces the eld of management through a variety of experiences as well as discussions led by faculty or industry experts. Also reviews the three undergraduate majors oered by Sloan as well as careers in management. Subject can count toward the 6-unit discoveryfocused credit limit for rst year students. J. Orlin
