Analysis of game indicators of high-class basketball players taking into account the game role

Abstract

Relevance. The results of a study of the playing activity of high-class basketball players of the five leading teams of the VTB United League in the 2020-2021 season are presented. A reference model has been developed for each playing role of basketball players, which should be guided by when forming a team and organizing the training process. Based on the data obtained, recommendations were formulated to improve the effectiveness of basketball players' game actions, taking into account the game role.The purpose of the study perform an analysis of the game performance of high-class basketball play-ers, taking into account the game role.Research methods and organization: To achieve this goal, a study was conducted as part of the performance of five leading Russian basketball clubs in the VTB United League Championship in the 2020-2021 season. In total, 50 studies of the game performance of high-class basketball players were conducted.
