Probe on the Popularization of Surgical Classification Knowledge among Clinicians

Abstract

AbstractAccording to the Evaluation Criteria for the Tertiary General Hospitals (2011 Version) announced by the National Health and Planning Commission of P.R. China, a certain hospital took key surgeries as examples and conducted training on normalized filling of surgical information in the homepages of medical records according to the surgical classification principles, aimed at the professional characteristics of clinicians, including the awareness of key surgeries, the basic knowledge of surgical classification, the selection of main surgery, the key classification points for special surgery, as well as the work of communication and code expansion. In this way, the ICD-9-CM3 knowledge was popularized among the clinicians, the development of evaluation work was promoted, and the accuracy rate of disease classification coding was improved.
