The use of social media was prevalent among students, and many of them believed it to be helpful for fostering learning, communication, teamwork, and knowledge development. The research also showed that distracting issues, privacy concerns, and the potential of cyberbullying were the biggest obstacles. Abstract

The widespread use of social media by students for educational purposes has led to a growing trend.
