Though the students recognize the relevance of the bio sciences and believe a good level of knowledge is required, bio sciences continue to remain an impediment for academic progress and a source of apprehension for students [1-3]. Academic performance in bio science subjects has been proven to be a powerful predictor of subsequent academic success [4,5].
