Abstract

This paper aims to present an overview of the Smart HEMS and Smart heating technologies and trends. It highlights a) Objectives and results of R&D projects in the Smart Home field; b) Smart Home Energy Management Systems (Smart HEMS); c) Smart thermostat products existing on the market and scientific approaches which deal with advanced control of heating systems, more specifically the prediction technique.
