The research was followed by 40 students which was established by using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used in this research were tests and divided into two types of test. The first test was written test and the second test was vocabulary mastery test with multiple choice form. Then, to prove the hypothesis of the research, the researcher analyzed the data by using the formula of pearson product moment correlation and resulted Then, , with the value of was 28,24 and was 2,027. 摘要:本研究旨在探讨学生词汇掌握水平与写作成绩之间的关系。本研究的目的是调查2020/2021学年SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi八年级学生的词汇掌握与学生描述性文本写作成绩之间是否存在显著相关。本研究的类型是定量研究,并采用了相关研究设计。采用比例随机抽样法对40名学生进行跟踪调查。本研究使用的仪器是测试,分为两种类型的测试。第一次测试是笔试,第二次测试是选择题形式的词汇掌握测试。然后,为了证明研究的假设,研究者使用pearson积矩相关公式对数据进行分析,得到,,其值分别为28、24、2027。根据上述数据分析的结果,可以得出Ha被接受,H0被拒绝的结论,这表明2020/2021学年SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi八年级学生的词汇掌握与学生描述性文本写作成绩之间存在显著的相关关系。关键词:词汇掌握,写作成就,描述文本。
