Showcase the role and importance of intellectual activity to the development and implementation of sound policy and programming; ! Draw on local, regional and national expertise, particularly through partnership connections with the Australian National University and the Northern Territory Government; ! Encourage vigorous, provocative and contemporary intellectual debate among key sectors of north Australian society; ! Minimise barriers to community participation by ensuring all Symposia are free to the public; and ! Provide critical analysis of the steps for making things happen, moving from good ideas to social and economic benefits, services and programs.
