Abstract

One of the health problems of children in Indonesia is stunting. The causes of stunting are very diverse and complex, one of which is the incidence of stunting related to maternal factors, such as the condition of the mother during pregnancy where the incidence of stunting in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency is 12.9%. This study aims to determine the description of maternal pregnancy factors in the incidence of stunting in the Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive. By collecting data using data collection instruments, namely data extraction sheets and maternal pregnancy factors, namely maternal age during pregnancy, gestational distance, mother's LILA during pregnancy, and maternal gestational age. 191 mothers and the sample used was 47 mothers who had stunted toddlers using a non-probability sampling technique with consecutive sampling in Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The results showed that judging from the results of the study, all maternal pregnancy factors did not contribute to the incidence of stunting. Where the age of the mother during pregnancy is most productive, the gestational age is mostly more than 37 weeks, the LILA of the mother during pregnancy is mostly normal, and the distance between pregnancy is mostly more than 1 year with mothers who have stunting toddlers. Toddlers with stunting in this study found that the maternal pregnancy factor was mostly normally measured using the normal limit value, judging by the results of the study the characteristics of the mother's pregnancy did not show any association with stunting
