Abstract

Constructing domain ontology from texts is an effective way of achieving “ ontology on demand.” However, this process is very complex. In this paper, we explore a practical approach for domain ontology construction from texts using existing tools. We also describe a case study, which focuses on selecting a variety of papers on avian influenza virus.
