Abstract

Forced by the war to cease publication, THE TEXT has had its share of fighting and climbing to do. Now, after having met every deadline and financial crisis successfully for the past two years, we are soundly established as a dependable and progressive bi-monthly publication. Of that fact we are proud. But we are equally determined and confident of publishing sixteen issues each year. Nor do our intentions stop there, for we intend that each year THE TEXT shall improve. We hope that you will read this issue thoroughly and that you will enjoy it very much: in fact so much that you will want to receive it by mail regularly. Your subscription will start these improvements, and you in turn will receive your copy of THE TEXT from now until the end of November, 1949. Will you fill in the information on the enclosed return addressed envelope, and drop it in the mail? The next sixteen issues will be mailed to you.
