Abstract
In this paper, we explored the reasons that caused an overflow problem with P-adic arithmetic. We developed an overflow detection method for multiple P-adic data type. The new method proposed in this paper can improve the detection accuracy with fewer verification terms. Experimental results are given to illustrate the concepts.
