Research Progress of Near Field Communication and Wireless Charging Antennas for Smartphone

Abstract

The research progress of our team regarding near field communication (NFC) and wireless power transfer (WPT) for mobile terminals are introduced in this paper. To realize NFC for metal cover smartphones, four antennas are illustrated. To achieve WPT through metal cover, two couplers are depicted. In order to save space and cost, two integrated NFC-WPT couplers are investigated for metal cover smartphones.
