Abstract
Wireless power transfer (WPT) system has drawn wide attention since it is a convenient and safe charging method. However, coil misalignment is inevitable for the WPT system, leading to a reduction of efficiency. The dual transmitter (TX) and single receiver (RX) system can improve efficiency in the misalignment condition by controlling the currents of TX, but at the cost of adopting two inverters to individually control each TX. Hence, this digest proposes a cost-effective and independent dual output inverter (IDOI) employing six MOSFETs, to improve the system efficiency under coil misalignment. The operation principle of the IDOI to achieve independent control is introduced, and the optimal control method of the IDOI to achieve maximum efficiency point is proposed then. The optimal efficiency simulation based on the IDOI with dual TX and single RX is established to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.
