Hence, the researcher conducted this study to determine the IMs used by the faculty members of Batangas State University. The researcher used the descriptive method of research and utilized survey and interview to gather data from the 84 faculty members. Findings revealed that many were using textbooks, PowerPoint presentation, workbooks, manuals and modules while few were using magazines, news articles, monograph and audio/ video. Problems encountered in the utilization of IMs included unavailability, inadequacy and quality of materials and the faculty’s inadequate background on the manipulation of the material. Only 31 developed IMs, but many have plans of developing one. These lead to the conclusions that faculty-respondents mainly used traditional IMs and that availability and quality influenced their utilization.
