In the article the urgency and social significance of the measures for the younger generation's health caused by the problem of the growth of youth's morbidity has been shown. The content and essence of healthcare-saving technologies as a complex of measures for formation, preservation and strengthening of pupils' health are determined. It is stressed such technologies are the core of all pedagogical technologies that aimed at strengthening and reproducing both the physical and mental health of participants in the educational process. The capability of such leading health-saving technologies in the institution of vocational education are determined; there are the technologies for creation of safe conditions of stay, training and work in the institution; the technologies for solving problems of rational organization of educational process, the technologies for establishing conformity of educational and physical load with pupils' real possibilities, as well as the health-improving technologies. It is reported the physical-health-improving technologies are aimed at the physical development of students; they are being implemented at the lessons of physical culture and in the work of sports sections. The ecological technologies are being directed for creating natural, environmentally optimal conditions of life and people's activities as well as harmonious relationships with nature, etc. The life-saving technologies are being pointed to preserving life and provided through study by pupils the subject \"Fundamentals of life safety\"; in the case future teachers they are studying courses \"Human Security\", \"Fundamentals of Labor Protection\", \"Civil Defence\". It is taken into account that programs, means, methods of health-saving should be aimed at the upbringing of pupils' culture of health; towards those personality traits contributing to its preservation and strengthening; on the formation of ideas about health as a value, as well as the motivation for a healthy lifestyle. It is concluded the educational system must have the responsibility for health-saving activity. The goal of the educational institution is to educate the younger generation about the values of self-esteem and the prestige of a healthy lifestyle in order to prepare truly competitive specialists in the modern labor market.","PeriodicalId":175663,"journal":{"name":"SCIENTIFIC BULLETIN OF FLIGHT ACADEMY. Abstract
