Two kinds of frequency generation techniques, digital PLL and sampling PLL, are used in radar front-end for enhancing noise performance and stability. Smacq USB-4600 data acquisition board is used to sample the IF signal. MATLAB is the tool for time-frequency analysis in order to obtain velocity-time map on the basis of 2D-fft. In this paper, a man running in the hallway has been chosen to be the target for detection.
