Abstract
This paper presents a comparative study between two different controls strategies of unit power factor rectifier: hysteresis current control and voltage oriented control (VOC), in order to obtain high performance DC bus voltage, lower input current harmonics and higher power factor. The studied control strategies presented in this paper are developed in MATLAB/Simulink environment and implemented in software of the DS1104 board. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate well the performance of the PWM rectifier control techniques.
