Abstract
This paper proposes a framework for making temporal queries over WWW. In order to manage dynamic behaviors of Web services, we interpret a part of XML documents as a labeled transition system, and investigate its temporal properties. To cope with the state explosion problem, we adopt the hierarchical abstraction and refinement. Our approach aims at avoiding concrete model construction. It adapts to the ‘divide and rule’ policy of Internet.
