Abstract

The metallic wire mesh is widely used in electromagnetic shielding engineering due to its obvious advantages such as light weight, high flexibility and low cost. The power cable joint uses metal mesh to restore the metal shielding layer. This paper studies the shielding effectiveness (SE) of metal mesh used for cable joint.
