Abstract
Engineering tests have been made of a continuum receiver based upon a composite bolometer cooled to 0.4K on the NRAO 36-foot telescope. We will describe some salient features of the receiver design and also discuss the relative sensitivity of this receiver compared to current coherent continuum receivers.
