Abstract

This paper proposes an efficient scheme for sharing location dependent data such as pictures of traffic accidents and congestion for assisting car drivers using vehicular ad hoc networks. Assuming that drivers request location-dependent data when they face a scene indicating an accident or they are caught in congestion, multiple requests will be sent from the same area to a location temporarily.
